I've shopped these hoops for 4 years, found nothing but VERY expensive options and/or vastly mixed reviews everywhere. Honestly the price attracted me at first, and then the regulation-sized rim was another indicator that this was a quality product. In sum, I am so glad I finally found this one. First of all, it's sturdy and looks really nice in our backyard. That was surprising because honestly the color combination doesn't look great in the pictures. In person it looks very high quality, almost "expensive" looking. That was not the goal, but it was a nice surprise. Assembly took less than an hour from unboxing until the kids were playing on it - and I am NOT a handy man. I have a very simple wrench set, and once I found the right size, it was very easy to put together with a couple extra hands (kids) helping me hold things in place. I honestly couldn't be happier with the purchase.

Saw a couple reviews that said their's is not secured tightly with the existing bolts. Was not the case for us. I even screwed up and assembled it with the rim maybe an inch or two off-center (it was at night and looked straight to me) - at this point, I'm afraid of loosening the bolts and recentering - because after 3 long uses, with the kids, and at least 500 shots so far, it hasn't moved an inch. Really really sturdy, kids are very happy, GREAT value, and the wife is pleasantly surprised - thanks Dunnrite.

Customer service was very helpful when deciding which hoop to purchase. It seems to be a family owned and operated company. I assembled quickly and with the help of another adult. So far we are thoroughly enjoying. It's a well made product and looks great!

Initial backboard too flimsy. New one better but was hoping it was thicker.

The shaft keeps working up and loose at the base and it is seated and with the bolt tight each time. This does not seem like a great design so far.

My second purchase of this item..thought for the price ( expensive) there could have been a better thicker rim( thought my first purchase had a thicker sturdier one) and the net is ridiculously cheap and continually flipping catching the net hooks(annoying to get unhooked).Just had to order a non flip net at my expense.It is family fun,that’s why I purchased it for the second time.That being said it was easy to assemble.

I looked at a bunch of basketball goals for our pool before landing on picking this one. It’s expensive but should last a long time. Only issue I have is the clear backboard was not properly glued to the surrounding. It was only hanging on by the bottom right corner when unboxed. I’ve since super glued it but in just 2 weeks of use it has come apart again. I’m afraid this won’t last as I expected it would. I’m not sure why the backboard wasn’t secured better, because if you don’t have a backboard then what’s the point of basketball goal. The base is great and hasnt tipped over but not sure the price equals the quality you receive. If the backboard was secured or even stayed secured this would be a great product.

Edit Aug 5th:
The company reached out to me and corrected this issue I was having. I should have reached out to them first before writing review to give them the chance to correct it. They sent new backboard that was corrected sealed to frame and it’s causing any issues now. I’ve had it for almost 3 weeks now and used almost everyday. This product is worth buying if looking for a quality basketball goal. Updated review from 3 stars to 5 stars. This is a company I would do business with in the future, they take care of their customers.

I received my pool basketball hoop via online shipment in two days. I couldn’t believe it. I assembled the hoop pretty quickly—30 minutes or so. I overtightened the back bracket and cracked it so be careful. They replaced the arm and again I received it extremely fast. The product is quality, regardless of my mistake. Definitely a solid company.

Love this B-Ball set. We have some "dunkers" in the family, and this sturdy set can withstand rough play. It's attractive looking and quality made. We had some issues in shipping which were not their fault, and the crew at DunnRite couldn't do enough to make everything perfect for us. Excellent customer service! I would give 10 stars if I could for the total purchase.
