PuP - Red CreekKooler

Two things. First, after the FIRST day (literally 5 hours) of being in the water, the screws are rusting so that doesn't bode well for the longevity and second, the Pup is advertised on the website as holding 10lbs of ice and 15 cans. That is just not even close to reality and I'd like to know how other people have found that claim.
The good: we dragged this behind a sailboat on the second day - calm water - and not what it was designed for but at "high" speed, it flipped UPSIDE DOWN dragging the lid underwater and it remained shut! It was only for like 30 or 45 seconds but still, no lost beverages or anything.
Overall, a great product. Just wish the capacity was more accurate and the screws were higher quality.

This thing is good as a cooler but wouldn't it make sense to use stainless steel screws? All the screws rusted within 2 days of use. Happy to send pics if you want to see. I'll have to replace all the screws and scrub the rust off for future use.

I'm very pleased with the cooler--I had planned to purchase a cooler and forget to do so--I called them on Monday and told them I needed the cooler for a event on Sat' they said the normal shipping was 3-5 days. But on tuesday i was notified they had shipped the cooler and I received it on wed.--On Sat I put ice in the cooler at 8am and went to a 6.5 mile Kayak trip==It was in the 90's and when I got home at 5:30 there was still ice in the cooler and everything in it was cold. I would recommend this product and the service I received from the manufacturer
