Is it stable enough for dunking?
Yes. That's what it's built for. Filled, the base weighs about 500 lb, which keeps the hoop stable for slams and dunks without anchoring it to the deck.
Can I use it on a sloped pool deck?
Yes. The 4-way leveling system adjusts the base to sit level on decks that slope toward the pool.
How tall can the rim go?
From 2 feet up to 6 feet above the pool deck, adjusted without tools. Set it higher for deep water or adult play, lower for kids or shallow ends.
How big is it?

Does the Splash & Slam Clear have a breakaway rim?
No. The breakaway rim is only on the Splash & Slam with Break Away System, White. The Clear model and the White Non-Break Away model have a fixed 18" stainless steel rim.
Does it come with a ball?
Yes. A color-matched, regulation-size basketball is included, as it is with every Dunn-Rite pool basketball hoop.
Can I use it with an above-ground pool?
No. Dunn-Rite doesn't recommend the Splash & Shoot for above-ground pools. It's designed to sit on the deck beside an inground pool. For an above-ground pool, we recommend the PoolSport, or Clear Shot which work when placed on a stable, level platform beside the pool.
