As advertised, a sturdy replacement basketball hoop

worked perfectly

Exact replacement and easy swap for existing rusted rim. The only negative is that as I swapped it - I noticed that my backboard is splitting along its' seam

I actually bought this for a far different purpose than the usual. I built a super solid large cat climber and used the hoop to make a 'basket' for my cat to lay on and lounge. I attached it to a 4X4 post, covered it with a burlap pillow case with an old shirt inside for more softness. Then sewed the pillow case opening with heavy fishing line. It is the perfect size and no doubt will last forever with this use.

Original hoop was 8 years old... started rusty and eventually rusted through so it was putting rust flakes into pool.... bought replacement... installed easily. Will be happy if I get another 8 years

We have had our pool hoop for almost 2 years and the metal on the hoop started to rust and disintegrate. So happy I could order just the replacement hoop and net for a great price and replacing it was super easy!
